A continuation of Music Festivals Coming to Florida (Part 1)…

1. Suwanee Springfest:  3/17-3/20/2016

Live Oak, FL, Ticket price: $210

At the peak of Spring, comes this festival with friendly people and nature activities. With what is referred to as Americana music, this festival is celebrating its 20th anniversary so it’s sure to be a party!

2. Wanee Music Festival: 4/14-4/16/2016

Live Oak, FL, Ticket price: $199.95

In the very popular spot that is the Live Oak field located on the Suwannee River, comes the 12th annual funky festival consisting of mostly jam bands. The festival was hosted by the Allman Brothers Band until 2014 but now that they have retired from that position, the festival is still looking like a success sponsored by Live Nation.

3. Tortuga Music Festival: 4/15-4/17/2016

Fort Lauderdale, FL, Ticket price: $199

Depending on your music taste, if you were debating attending the Wanee Festival but you’re more of a country music listener, then this will be the one you will want to go to this weekend. Located on the beach with classic country bands, it’s sure going to feel like summer.

4. Suwanee River Jam: 4/27-4/30/2016

Live Oak, FL, Ticket price: $90

This family style-festival is located at the historic Suwannee River Park with full access to camping and RV parking. It’s another country style event so choose wisely.

5. Welcome to Rockville: 4/30-5/1/2016

Jacksonville, FL, Ticket Price: $69.50-99.50

Monster energy sponsors this event that brings the biggest names in metal and alternative rock. It’s the biggest hard rock festival that only comes to Florida. (Side note: this is my personal favorite one out of all festivals coming to Florida this year)

6. Moonstone 2016: 4/30-5/1/2016

Orlando, FL, Ticket price: $179-590

If you’re more of an indie or classic rock music listener, then this festival will be your choice if you had to choose between this and #5.  This is its inaugural festival.

West Palm Beach, FL, Ticket price: $35-75

This multi-genre music and art festival is has been held annually in the first week of May since 1982. It is Florida’s largest festival of its kind and attracts more than 275,000 visitors each year. When the festival is in progress, Clematis St. hosts many special events because it attracts so many tourists. The line-up has yet to be announced but always holds music variety that is great for every person so keep an eye out.

8. Orange Blossom Jamboree: 5/19-5/22/2016

Brooksville, FL, Ticket price: $77-87

This festival located on a ranch is full of an artistic crowd with craft stations and drum circles set up.

9. Country 500: 5/27-5/29/2016

Daytona, FL, Ticket price: $249

This inaugural festival features some of the oldest and most popular artists in country music and is located on the Daytona 500 speedway!

While some of the festivals in part 1 have now passed us by, there are still so many fantastic so as I stated before, go ahead and request a weekend off and drive to one of these local cities! The 18 festivals that I have listed are the only ones that have been announced in Florida in 2016, so don’t miss your chance and attend one!
